The preview of the Merano Wine Festival, which will be held from November 9th to 11th, brings us back to the podium, noting that ten of our labels will be awarded, five Cleto Chiarli and as many Quintopasso.The five Cleto Chiarli wines were all bottled in 2023. They are the Lambrusco del Fondatore Lambrusco di Sorbara DOC, the Vigneto Cialdini Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro DOC, the Rosè De Noir Brut and the Pruno Nero Dry Modena Dry sec Lambrusco DOC VS awarded the Winehunter Rosso while the Vecchia Modena Premium Mention Honorable Lambrusco di Sorbara DOC obtained the Winehunter Oro.Please note that the Pruno Nero Dry Modena Dry sec Lambrusco DOC VS will not be available for tasting.As for Quintopasso, the winery that produces the classic method from the Sorbara grape, the five award-winning wines are Maestro and Pas Dosé, which received the Winehunter Gold. The Winehunter Rosso award was instead won by the Rosé, the Rosé Pas Dosé Magnum, and the Paradise. This latter wine will also not be available for tasting.The WineHunter Award has eight tasting panels, led by WineHunter Helmut Köcher, the creator of the Merano award. Each panel consists of at least three people, selected from sommeliers, bartenders, wine shops, journalists, and enthusiasts.In Merano, Cleto Chiarli and Quintopasso will share the station in the Lentner Room, Table 159 (QP) and 159B (Cleto).
